Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we can feel stuck in a relentless cycle of depression, anxiety, and waves of anger or numbness. Struggling to stay present, finding it difficult to experience any joy, strained relationships, or feeling alienated due to intersecting identities may feel too overwhelming. I can understand how these challenges can be further influenced by cultural and systemic factors.
I see you. I hear you. I understand the weight you carry—the pressures of family, community, and a world that doesn’t always see your true self. As your therapist, I will provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you in which every aspect of your identity is honored and embraced. Here, your story is sacred, and your experiences are valid.
My therapeutic approach integrates cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. Drawing from my background in education and as a current crisis counselor, I tailor each session to the unique needs of my client, helping them thrive with self-compassion.
My goal as your therapist will be to help you navigate life’s challenges and work towards a future where you feel empowered and authentically you.
